What a face X3 Not only do your anthros get better and better, but in CG, too! That's a really engaging expression she's wearing. My favourite detail, when you zoom in close, is the fur inside those ears XD

... Rachel, you must be one of the amazingest people alive. I first thought this was painted! Like in, painted with paints and a brush with hairs onnit! o_o It's really beautiful. The fur looks so smooth and fun and yay 8D How did you do the background? I've been SEEKING for that nice watercoloury effect for ages and I can't do it >_<

:-) Rachel Zyden Beaconsfield replies: "How did I do it? O_o That’s a good question. I can’t quite remember as I was experimenting at the time - this was my first proper Photoshop background that extended beyond a boring gradient shift. I think it involved a very, very large airbrush, set at a 40% opacity. I made 3 layers. One I flood filled with yellow, the second I built up the orange in big circular movements, and the 3rd I added the purple in the same way. I then merged it all, and on new layers, I made the airbrush tiny, and added the detail highlights and lowlights with the same circular movements. Wherever the airbrushing looked a little harsh, I softened the edges, or reduced the opacity even more and gently worked it in."

Hyena?

:-) Rachel Zyden Beaconsfield replies: "An African Wild Dog, the continent’s most endangered predator. They estimate that there are less than 60 dogs left in the Serengeti. Yesh, I am a wild dog freak. I lub them ;_;"

The colors were born for each other! What a cutie. My opinion, this is one of your finest pictures.
