Wow, you seem to be very productive lately. It's like every time I visit your gallery something new is there!

Like the neon qualities of the horse a lot, and the way it blends into the dark background is a neat feat of painting light! The rather subtle coloruse in the body actually leads you to his eye, which makes the composition very balanced.

I love the glassy polished effect you have successfully delivered in this pic! There's so much mystery in those fiery eyes! And the mane... It's like the wind is able to blow through the stiffest of materials... Mysterious...

So, this is about vampires, eh? Is this s'posed to be a vampire horse, Or a vampires mount or something?
Well actually, big black horse with glowing yellow eyes... it looks like it could be a pooka.
Well anyway, good work.

:-) Rachel Zyden Beaconsfield replies: "It’s actually a symbolic representation of one of the characters from the book, and that’s a sunset caught in its eye (though I apologise for the reduced size and detail that rather obscures it). To fully understand the cover art though, you’d need to read the novel ^_~"

Whoa! Thats an awesome picture! It looks so real and metallic, yet theres so much emotion in it. I admire your skill with lighting as well, one day I might be as good as you I hope 2 oh and what media did you use? (Im sorry if it already says, I can't remember) anyway, keep drawing your amazing pictures!!
