Rachel Zyden Beaconsfield replies: "Aww. C’mon now. I didn’t say I hated your elves. I just dislike the whole twirly, long-haired, frilly, pansy girl, arrow shooting, deeply connected with nature hippy-style persona of the generic elf. I'm sure your elves are buff and unique.*goes to take a look*" | |

| 13 Jan 2006 | Doris 'Riana' Lettmann | Loading...You are right, it´s time for new types of fantasy races and creatures! The costume design is really neat (especially the backside- nice attention for details!) I normally don´t like those huge copyright information written over the whole art, but in that case it fits (maybe because the whole drawing has a very graühical appearance- on the first view the signs over the face of the char seem to we a sort of tattoo or ertravagant cell-style shading. | |
| 27 May 2006 | Anthony Ray Schmerling | Loading...This is extremely well done, personally I don't like the generic version of most creatures. This is just like something i've been thinking about but I didn't want to make up a name for my own species. Oh ya, could I use your species for one of my stories when I publish them? Rachel Zyden Beaconsfield replies: "Well, you can’t use the name klaxus since the klaxus are a race invented for my own prose which may one day see self-publication. But horned guys with pointy ears I can’t say are TM me (since they've been around for as long as I've known), so if you want a horned humanoid race in your prose, I can’t tell you no. Just please, don't call them klaxus or use any of my klaxus characters in your prose. Many thanks " | |
| 14 Jul 2006 | Susana Molina | Loading...Really cool! btw, I agree with you I think there are many creatures in real and fantastic worlds that are not elves. | |
| 12 Mar 2007 | Esmeralda C. Lindblad | Loading...I agree fully with you! In my imaginary world, elves are so fair-skinned (read: pale) 'cause they spend their lives in underground tunnels, like moles do. They have large ears to listen for their prey (usually worms, maybe some rodents), and the oh-so-sophisticated-and-magic-elf-thing is just to hide the fact that they're eating worms on banquets. Yes, my imagination is weird, I know... He's beautiful, in a... well, non-traditional way. And orcs are big and green 'cause they're grazers, like cows and buffaloes (sp?). I love your art! | |

Great work! | |
